C Ennis Sr.

In his early years, Cedric’s love for soulful ballads and love songs from artist such as Luther, Lionel, Maze, Anita Baker, Peabo, and Denise Williams helped him “woo his wife”, who is the main reason he sings whenever he’s asked to today. “I was supposed to sing to my wife on our wedding day, but I celebrated a bit much the night before and had no voice”...says Cedric. “I vowed to her then to sing whenever I was asked, to try and make up for that special moment”.

Cedric Ennis Sr., who loves to praise and worship Jesus Christ through song, is a multi-talented gospel musician, author, composer and vocalist. Coming from a humble family of musical talent who are leaders of music ministries in Louisiana churches and supported by his wife Tanya, sons and daughters (who are vocalist, percussionist & digital music forces). He is inspired by his brother Clyde Ennis II (whose preaching’s and teachings have birthed music yet to be heard says Cedric), Fred Hammond, Donnie McClurkin, and John P. Kee to name a few.

Cedric’s director of music and mentor Dynell D. Hilton (teacher is what he calls her) said,  “We are blessed to have a group of song writers able to capture the spirit of our worship and praise”…and... “our collection of service music inspires you to clap your hand, tap your toes and even dance while helping you deepen your relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.” Cedric’s most recent work includes an original, the “Our Father”, stated as being…“the cornerstone of this collection of mass arrangements.”…said Donna Auguste, author and editor of “Mass of the Cure D'Ars Songbook and CD” available at Amazon.com.

Cedric says his future will be delivering God’s word and love through song. “There is a need for everyone to know that Jesus Christ and His love is REAL,” says Cedric, “and that a life without Christ is not life….it’s death.”  Cedric says he’s excited and overjoyed at this opportunity to share Christ’s love with the world.
